.. we had a busy day of driving around, so for dinner we stopped at Fry's, where I fell to the temptation of Special Dark, frosted lemon cookies from the bakery, and cold fried chicken.
I ate the fried chicken with a wee little bit of sauce that was a combination of sweet and sour sauce and a very hot pepper sauce. It was interesting. Definitely helped with my headache.
Seriously, I had about 1/4, maybe a wee bit more, of the giant Special Dark bar and I ate all but two of the frosted lemon cookies in a package. That means I ate 10 of them and these were not small cookies. Wow! And, I ate the other two this morning.
I also had a hot open face roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes and cole slaw, after weighing, and a piece of fried chicken and a large glass of flavored coffee from Circle K before weighing.
Did I have wild urges not to go weigh? Yes. I am committed to the truth, though, and I had a dollar to do it, so, I went and weighed.
Eating two lemon cookies and a small piece of the Special Dark right now, too. They are so good! But ...
For dinner, I had roasted skinless chicken, nice and flavored with spice, 1-1/2 of the dinner rolls - which took care of them - and some pre-buttered brussel sprouts. They were not even bitter, so, that was weird!
That wasn't the "but". The "but" was that I went to the Dollar Tree and got myself some freezer dishes, so that I can take my bok choy and peppers, that I bought the other day, and make a lovely big soup and freeze it up, or even just package it for the refrigerator so I can eat it in a day or two. I also have some celery to use up!
Well, I call it soup, but, really it is more stew. It's a good way to get lots of veggies in and even add in spices and things like acv that make it even healthier and build up one's immune system, etc.
