This morning, I did a little oil pulling but not enough. I was suffering from a combination of smoke inhalation - from when I was using the self-cleaning feature on the oven, last night - and what I am now sure was cream cheese chocolate frosting on the cupcake of doom that I paid for and ate the other night.
It is totally unfair that I went out of my way not to purchase any cupcakes that appeared to be cream-cheese enhanced and I am still sitting around feeling all tired and gut-achy and numb of limb! Such, however, is life, and that is why it is better to bake your own treats!
To that end, today I bought a tub of what would be Crisco, if it was not the store brand equivalent. It cost only slightly more than the cupcake! Okay, it cost slightly less than twice the price of the cupcake. Still, it is definitely capable of being a part of making far more than eight times the cupcake, so, it is a good investment.
Since I am very unlikely to ever be able to afford a real canister for my flour, I have determined - almost- that the best course of action is to empty all my laundry soap into a plastic bag, wash the sturdy plastic tub it came in out, then, insert another plastic bag inside of it and fill that with flour. Why? Well, very few animals or bugs attack and eat laundry soap! Many enjoy a light snack of flour!
Today,I made the full 4 tbsp dose of acv water, which, in retrospect, was a bad idea, as I actually used the tablespoon and spilled quite a bit. Better to use the teaspoon. Yep! Yep!
For breakfast, I had two corn dogs. For lunch, Dad took me and my son to the Super China Buffet and I had a whole lot of various thingies, too delicious to describe to you. Mmm ... Mostly, made out of chicken, though.
I was going to eat apples and such for breakfast, but, then, I learned plans had been made for the buffet (actually I was the middle man in the conversation and Mom was the other middle man) so I had decided not to eat anything. Then, I realized I was feeling quite nasty and hungry, both, so I needed something quick and fairly non-fibrous.
The good news is that I, the poor lady, have learned today that I should have enough money from my tax refund to get myself a new pair of shoes plus have one of the heels built up, so that I can get properly started on my dancing. It may be another month before I can get it all sorted, or even a wee bit longer than that, but, there is hope!
Thank you, Jehovah! For, he is, you know, the God of hope, as well as several other lovely things!
Last night, I went on a walk. Not a long one. Maybe 2/3 of a mile, all told. It was quite a bit for me, in my fat little state of being milk-poisoned, though. I feel both good and sore.
Oh, and I did not do the hot lemon water this morning. It was a very busy day of trying to get things done. Did manage to get some more veggies and mayonnaise, as well as some white bread and cookies for my son.
Ate three of the cookies, which were Oreos that had both white and chocolate stuffing. Very tasty! Probably made with cream cheese! lol
