Went on a walk, this mid-morning

... down to a variety store, of a type, who shall remain purposely nameless, since they stopped taking Medicaid /DES type insurance and, therefore, do not deserve any, even inadvertent, free advertising.
Whilst there, I found and purchased several things that I could not afford, but, most of which, I needed.
Some rubber gloves, so that I can protect my precious digits whilst cleaning; especially if I must clean the toilets; which, there are several books and magazines which purport this to be a must.
Some big black bags, for trash, or for sorting out things that I don't know where to put, and/or do not have proper storage for.
A small set of knives. Not small knives, just a small set, for kitchen use. This is a present for my sister, so that she will have knives that are sharp, at least for a time; this is, also, a present for me, since I do cook over there.
An address book, made for large printing, so that whenever we do have a doctor, therapist, job, etc., the information may be writ inside and we'll know where to look for it, offline.
Two dark chocolate hearts, smallish, filled with coconut cream. Mmm ... They were tasty!
For lunch, I stopped at a nearby fast food place and had a smallish burger with an extraordinary amount of fries, considering they should also have been small, and a small drink that was a mixture of mostly diet and a little bit sugary lemon-lime. Also, a small salad, which, unfortunately, had cheese in it. (sigh). And, this, after I very carefully ordered a sandwich without cheese.
Whilst there, I heard a very weird conversation, wherein a man went to order a burger and he asked what sort of cheese was on it. Then, he asked if it was American. The woman said yes, it was American. He said "Wrong kind of cheese."
Then, he said he wanted cheddar and she asked him if he wanted the cheddar. Eventually, they got on the same page, figured out that he could certainly have cheddar cheese on his burger and both expired, happy and content with their life.
Okay, that didn't happen. Still, I find it very odd, because, last I heard, cheddar cheese is American cheese. I realize that, on occasion, someone smart-arsed labels a pure white, boring cheese as American; but, all the time I was growing up, cheddar cheese was talked of as "American cheese" by Americans and non-Americans, alike.
However, for some people, only the mild or medium cheddar was American. Still, fast food restaurants really don't, as a general rule, use sharp cheddar, so, it still counts.
Anyway, altogether, I walked about a mile. I am not sure how much less than a mile, nor am I sure Google can be trusted to be correct on this; but, it says the fast food place is 1/3 mile from my home and I had to walk past it, a wee ways, to get to the variety type store. Plus, of course, I walked around inside the store. So, according to Google, I definitely walked 2/3 mile and then some.
My tendons are acting up a bit, but, not too bad. I was feeling nice and tired and tried to take a nap, after doing a bit of work, but, the neighbor came over to borrow the phone, and, then, while we were talking  and he was still waiting to use the phone, my nephew's girlfriend rang up, twice.
She has a job interview and ,so, I am now washing all the clothes I still have, which are too small for me, so that I may take them to her, tonight, and we can see if any of them fit her well enough.
Therefore, plenty of exercise, today, boy!
