This was not a day for thinking much about change or self. My son has been having some troubles and I spent the day, with him and my father, trying to get him sorted.
For breakfast, I had, I think, two cherry toaster pastries and two corn dogs, one with a little ketchup as the first one was too dry. Also, full bottle of usual strength acv water. Oh, and the rest of the package of almond milk, which wasn't much. And, a black coffee at the place wherein said sorting properly began.
For lunch, I had two slices of Italian Mama pizza from Pappy's Diner. It was very good, especially for the price.Seriously, this is a pizza that is the equivalent of a $30 or so pizza from elsewhere, for $9.99. Dad and I each ate two pieces and were satisfied, so stopped. We both wanted to go on, for the taste, but, quit because we were full.
By the way, the waitress followed us out to the vehicle to make sure what the tip should be and to correct its legibility, because it looked like it was for more than she thought it should be. How cool is that?
The Italian Mama pizza has, surprisingly, Italian sausage and black olives and bell pepper chunks. Probably has other things, but, I don't remember. I called my sister and left a message "Pizza. Come and get it tonight or tomorrow morning, is my suggestion".
If you are single and can afford it, and do not have cheese issues like mine, and are in Tucson, a good plan would be to go buy a pizza from Pappy's Diner and some ingredients for fabulous salads, then pack a slice and a salad for your lunches. You can freeze it, too, and so string it out for a few weeks, just to liven things up.
Uhm... the pizza! Don't freeze the salad.
I am about to drink more acv water, as I already finished the first bottle, and snack of some guacochips and lemon cookies and maybe, over time, the two apples I had intended to eat for breakfast, before all hulabaloo broke forth.
