This day has not been kind to me. In part due to the milk-infested potatoes I blithely ingested, yesterday and, in part, due to the enormous pool of water on the floor in the backroom. Water heater problems!
I was going to start on the kitchen, today and try to take it apart, then reassemble it as something easier to find stuff in. Not going to happen just now, though, bucko!
For breakfast, I had two apples. One of them was pretty good and the other one was ironic; because, I had purchased the bag of it and the filth just like it on the same day that I told my sister that I've never met an apple (by type) I hated.
Well, I hate this one! Don't remember the brand name, but, I shall do my best to remember it's ugly exterior and avoid it like the plague it is. It is both green and red, in some odd ombre stripe.
Not really. I mean, not really in an ombre stripe, but, it is really both green and red. It's like someone took the green and red apples, perhaps with a smattering of golden delicious, and, by virtue of selecting the worst qualities of each, made a hybrid apple fit to destroy the world.
It was wooden, tasteless, hard to bite into, slightly bitter once a taste was discovered, and easily turning from wooden gnaw ball to putrid mush, as I chewed.
I am so not amused. Am tired, though, so think I shall take the phone with me to the back room and lay down. I would not take it, generally, but, I am hoping the insurance will call about the water heater.
Whoops. Two apples, a small piece of sandwich, no mayo. Made my acv water curiously strong, before shutting off the water, too. Didn't measure it, just poured what I hoped to be the right amount and a splash more for luck. I overestimated how much I need. Since, I have added in more water, though, so it's a reasonable taste.
For lunch, I had a few guacachips and the rest of the sandwich. More bread than I needed, but, just about enough meat; and, since I added a little mayo and a tomato, almost enough flavor and moisture, as well.
Now, off to the land of sleepness.
