Actually, if I did not have to clean off the stove, locate the proper utensils and all that, first - in other words, if I had an organized home - then, it would be easier to cook the eggs on the stove top. Though, in the case of poached eggs for one, I find it easier to use the microwave.
These are not poached eggs I am having, however; they are very fluffy, scrambled eggs, with a bit of salt and pepper. 5 of them, medium sized. That's right, I said five. Don't often eat eggs, anymore, but, unless I am having them with bacon or sausage or something else protein laden, I do not find one or two eggs at all satisfying. I be needing my protein!
You have observed, from reading thus far, that I eat carbohydrates quite a bit. I love vegetables and fruit! Lately, I've been eating a lot less meat, because, I can't afford it. I've been doing fine with that, too, on most days. It's just, sometimes, I need a good, whopping amount of protein and this is one of those times.
So, for breakfast, there are 5 eggs, a regular sized orange, a regular sized golden apple, and some saltines, if I want them.
No, saltines are not a miracle diet food. They are pretty cheap, satisfyingly crunchy, easy to serve and go with most things fairly well.
Of course, I am also having acv water (4 tsps) and I did the morning oil pulling. During the oil pulling, I went ahead and marched in place for most of three minutes. Then, a tendon on my left leg started hurting, so I switched to simply continuing to move in whatever ways wouldn't hurt.
When I was cooking the eggs, I did some marching in place and moving, doing side lunges and dance steps. I would say that was about two minutes, at least.
I read something that said you are more likely to lose weight from moving for a small time period, several times a day, thereby keeping your metabolism burning bright, than to do one large bout of exercise. Burns more fat. Fat is what I wish to lose, so I am now making a more purposeful effort to march in place or something of that nature when standing in lines, waiting for food to cook, or wherever it can be done.
Now, having read the Bible for the morning, and having written here, I am going to eat my breakfast and watch something a bit silly - I hope it will be silly- and get on to doing the work that I get paid for.
Okay, I am not having 5 eggs for breakfast. The kitty showed back up, and I was going to give him some more tinned salmon, but, I still don't know where the can opener is, which is why the eggs don't have tinned mushrooms in them. I gave him about half my eggs, instead.
He is batting them around on the floor, evidently under the assumption that they are the oddest color of mice he has ever encountered. Well, it appears to be fun he's having, and, fortunately, scrambled eggs are likely to pick up more dirt than leave it, so, all's well enough.
Off to do things!
