New weight

Here are the measurements, from the GNC scale, for the last five weigh-ins:

On June 27th                           
Weight: 283.7
Height: 5'6.1"
B .M.I. 46
Body Fat Mass 119.2

July 10, 2012
Weight: 279.5
Height: 5'6.1"
B .M.I. 45
Body Fat Mass 117.5

July 24, 2012 (or thereabouts)
Weight: 278.6
Height: 5'5.6"
B.M.I. 45
Body Fat Percentage: 43%
Body Fat Mass: 119.4 lbs

August 9th, 2012
Weight: 277.7
Height: 5'6.1"
B.M.I. 45
Body Fat Percentage: 44%
Body Fat Mass: 121.6 lbs.

August 21st, 2012
Weight: 279.5
Height: 5'6.1"
B.M.I.: 45
Body Fat Percentage: 43%
Body Fat Mass: 118.6

And, today September 6th, 2012
Weight: 276.6
Height: 5'6.1"
B.M.I. 44
Body Fat Percentage: 42%
Body Fat Mass; 115.2 lbs

So, that's just a smidge under 3 lbs less, total, but, just a (slightly larger) smidge over 3 lb fat loss.

I knew I had to have lost weight, but, I had no idea how much. This is good. Not jump up and down terrific, but, perfectly reasonable for two weeks

Couldn't weigh today

It's driving me nuts, because I really do feel like I lost some fat on me, but, I can't do the measurements on the GNC scale to find out, because the feed, as in the bit that takes the dollar bill in, is broken.

I was told there is another such machine at the mall where we usually go see a movie, but, my sister would not drive there, even though we were out and about - not even after swimming.

Maybe tomorrow it will be fixed. Doubt it, but, one never knows.

Anyway, I have been swimming the last two days, and I am definitely sore and feel like I am building some muscle, improving my range of motion a bit, and maybe even improving my posture. Plus, of course, it's fun!

Mostly we go around this little jogging track, but, sometimes swim a few laps and mostly just try to keep moving and having fun

I've been both sick and ...

.. dealing with mice. The mice are over-running the place. So tired of mice!
Got a few traps, but, I cannot afford nearly enough of them. Am now trying peanut butter mixed with Boraxo. I think I may have gotten the dosage too strong, but, it is hard to tell, because a cat came in and scared the mice away, last night.

Weird, but, true. No idea how or when it got in, either.

Been swimming a few times, recently, and some of that swimming is just walking or running along a little curvy track they have in the pool, where sometimes there is a current to walk against. It's fun! Also, they have some foam weights in the pool. Not enough resistance to count as real weight-lifting. Well, not for me; but, it is something. Since I don't have a stereo and am not dancing, I do need something!

Went on two walks, yesterday. However, they both were short and there was fast food in the middle.

Anyway, I am feeling a bit more toned from the swimming. It's nice.
