So, there I was, striding along. .

.. through the restaurant, feeling pretty good .. feeling like my muscles are stronger, my posture is more upright, my hips are swingier ...

I get to the table, and I start to tell my dad about how I've been walking more, lately, and before I get halfway through the first sentence, so all I said is "I've been walking .." he says "You're looking thinner."

My sister said that I'm looking thinner, the other day, but, only about one of several photos, so I wasn't sure if it was my face or just the angle. So, I didn't really believe it, at that point; but, today I got confirmation, so: yaye!

There is a reason I have not been doing my weight, measurements, etc. It's because I have not even been trying. I was not walking to lose weight. I was just walking to walk, due to restlessness.

I have not refined my eating plan, yet. Hopefully, soon. When I do, and I start really trying, again, I shall go back to weighing and measuring; probably, every two weeks again.

I'm still here ..

Been having a hard time of it, what with the neighbors stealing my groceries and all, but, I am still around and still have plans in motion.

Haven't gotten to weigh in about a month, and lost most of the receipts from several times before that, but, last time I did weight, I weighed about the same as I did before I started swimming.

Swimming was doing wonders for my posture and muscle tone, but, I was not losing any weight . Then, I found out I am allergic to bromine, which is what the year 'round pools use in this city. So, I had to stop swimming, at least until the summer.

Yesterday and today, I went on a walk in the evening that totaled what I will call 3.5 miles. That is, each walk was 1.8 miles each way, so each walk was approximately 3.5 miles and it was 7 miles for the two days.
