Feeling the pressure

Now that I have had a two week testing of apple cider vinegar, and found it good, I am feeling nervous. That was the easy, mostly passive, part of change.
And, yes, I do have my acv water and I did do the oil pulling. Also, read a good whack of the Bible and wrote declarations of love at a certain Scotsman. One of these things is not as good for my health as the others. See if you can pick it out. It's very near the end of the list. lol
For breakfast, I had two apples, mixed dried cereals and a much smaller amount of the trail mix than I had on the other days.
Today, we are having a family get-together. Yaye! There will be turkey, cranberry sauce, rolls, pies, and veggies. I shall attempt to eat heartily of the vegetables and then of the turkey, and see how things go. I will not purposely eschew anything, though.
I mean, the point is to be able to live a normal, healthy, happy life and if you want dessert, and it is not actively harmful for you to have dessert, dessert should be had. However, be sure you want it! Examine your motives and true desires.
Right now, my true desire is to kiss a crippled, blind man. Not because I am a pervert, but, because he is the Scotsman to whom I make declarations of love.
That is talk for a different blog, or book, though.
The point of this one is to say that now, I must take more purposeful action. My criteria is that it must be with the addition of things that will enhance my life in a positive way, and which do not require extra special equipment of any sort.
You don't have to follow me, but, if you do, you will not have to run out and purchase a blender, food scale, gym membership, special clothing, or etc. Though, you are perfectly free to do so. After all, just because I am writing the book for people to be able to use without those things, does not mean that those things are bad. It's just very frustrating if you are made to feel you have to have them, to do something good for yourself.
So, the question is, what shall I do? I must now make more concrete plans. (sigh)
It is now, technically, tomorrow, again. lol  The family gathering was a bit nice. Got to see my granddaughter, which is a very rare treat.
The mashed potatoes got me. I tend to forget that mashed potatoes have milk in them. Generally, when I make mashed potatoes, I use baked potatoes and then just mash them with a little butter and/or some meat juice. Right now, I am feeling all achy, because I was stupid enough to eat mashed potatoes.
This is not the same thing as being negative about failures, dearhearts. This is not an issue of control, to be dealt with. This is something that can cause major health issues, which needs to be avoided. Though, you are right. It is not that I am stupid. It is that I, sometimes, forget I am not capable of eating certain things, without them causing me pain. I do pretty good, but, the mashed potatoes are hard to remember.
The dinner was nice. I ate mostly vegetables;a little turkey; some fruit cake which was a light fruitcake instead of the dark, this time around; a little pecan pie; a wee tiny bit of cranberry sauce; one dinner roll; drank some tea that I will attempt never to partake of, again; and ate exactly two squares of a Hershey Symphony bar.
I ate those two squares and drank that tea, very slowly, and enjoyed them. The tea was not bad, exactly; just, way too sugary.
Earlier, I had a small piece of sandwich and a wee few cheetos - maybe 10 of them. Not sure how many, but, nowhere near even 1/4 of the small bag, which was one of the bigger small sized bags. Really, just a few! It was lovely. With both the chocolate and the cheetos, and the tea yeah, I practiced chewing thoroughly and really smelling and tasting what I was taking in.
It worked pretty good, too. I wasn't finished with the first square before all the rest of the candy bar was gone.
Total of two bottles of acv water dranken, today. Which, by the way, I went into an Albertson's and I found they had some smaller bottles of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar for $3.99 each, which if the bigger bottle had not been on sale, it would have cost the same as four of them, anyway, and I'm pretty sure they at least equal it. Plus, smaller bottles are so much easier to handle. I went ahead and bought four bottles, because, one big bottle is likely to last me about a month and I only had two bottles, and, now that I know it works for me, I want to make sure not to run out.
I think that's all I have to say, for now. xx
Oh, by the way, my lip is fully healed, in case you were wondering. It's been mostly healed but still feeling a wee bit tender, for a couple of days, now, but, today, it is definitely healed up.
