Although, technically, my weeks, thus far, have been 13 days long! Oh well!
This morning, for breakfast, I am having two apples, one chicken thigh from the package of fried chicken that I bought the other day, and a scant handful each of mixed cereal and mixed trail mix. I do mean a scant handful, too. It's not even half the size of what I had eaten before.
Of course, I am also having the acv water. This time, I employed a two step method for getting it into the bottle, with an added twist, that dirties more dishes, but, otherwise simplifies the whole process.
To whit, I first filled the bottle with water, instead of measuring out the apple cider vinegar into the bottle and then filling it.
When I measured it out, I measured out 4 well filled tablespoons into a small glass, instead of trying to get them into the bottle and spilling them or instead of having to measure out 12 tsps into the bottle.
Then, I poured it from the small glass into the bottle. Worked perfectly!
Yesterday, was definitely a more meat than vegetable day. At least, I am fairly certain it was more, and, definitely, it was that the vegetables were outweighed by both meat and grains. I must attempt to rectify that, today. Though, when I saw vegetables, I include fruit.
Okay, it is now about bedtime. For breakfast, I also had a lemon frosted cookie. Though, them pretending it has lemon flavoring is really pushing credulity too far. It's still tasty cookies. However, either they are only putting 10 in each package now, or, my son ate two of them.
I don't mind if he did, but, it seems unlikely he would have, as he mostly hates those kind of cookies. It is a mystery, until I see him and can ask.
For dinner, I took the leftover spaghetti sauce, with its 1/2 an Italian sausage and all its veggies, and I added in some eggplant, another full Italian sausage, a bunch of fresh spinach, another big can of alleged spaghetti sauce, some roasted garlic, some of the mixed (colors) sweet peppers, a little salt, a little chili powder and rather a lot of oregano.
Once the new veggies and meat were all cooked and waiting, I added the new canned sauce and old sauce together. Then, I put the spaghetti noodles directly into them, and, as they cooked, I spooned in the newer meats and veggies and blended it all together.
It was rather a lot, but, mostly vegetable. We ate it all. More than we needed, but, outside of the portion control issues, it was very healthy for us.
Later on, we had some pieces of hard caramel and coffee candy, which, as I discovered yesterday, go really well together.
