We went to the Golden Corral, where I ate mostly veggies, and not too much dessert, but, where I had a couple of their fluffy rolls with honey spread and a bit more food than I should have, for one meal. Fortunately, it was not one meal, but, two.
I ordered a Diet Pepsi, but, all they had was Pepsi Max, which was gross! So, my next drink was a Sprite. Much better! Though, of course, more sugary.
This morning, for breakfast, I am having apples, dried cereal, trail mix, and acv water.
I've been thinking over my weight gain, instead of weight loss, and while some of it certainly is due to swelling, I do note that I have made several changes toward the less positive, over the last few weeks. Or, at least several changes and some of them are definitely less positive, and some of them are suspected.
For one thing, I have been spending more time with my sister. This means eating more later in the day, and, eating more sweets.
Also, I did have several bouts of having some sort of cheese. Even the other day, at Pappy's Diner, the salad had cheese - which we managed to get a new one - and then the spaghetti had cheese all over it.
I have gone back to drinking more sodas and have been drinking less water, otherwise.
And, I had been eating more whole grains. I mean, I am still eating a lot of vegetables and fruit, so it is not that there has been a major increase in meat. It's just that there has been almost no grains, recently, except in really crappy bread.
So, it is probably a good thing that I bought the whole grain bread, again. I also bought some quinoa and lots of cous cous, some garbanzo beans and some black beans.
All of which reminds me, in some strange way, that Family Dollar has some decentish looking storage jars - kitchen canister type -for about $5 each. Woot woot! I should walk down and get some.
Tried to call my sister to give her the choice between me walking down to Family Dollar or her giving me a ride and then us taking the doggies to the park. But, she did not answer her phone, so I guess that answers that.
