Hot lemon water

.. today, and, for breakfast, the third part of the sandwich with some cucumber and tomato slices, bean sprouts, extra lettuce, a wee bit of extra ham - as there really was not much meat on this sandwich of breadly construction - and a few chips of corn, in various flavors.

Mayonnaise and Southwest-style mustard were added to the sandwich, and, considering my desire for tastiness, were followed by a hit of white wine vinegar and dried oregano.

So far, I have gone as far as drinking most of the hot lemon water. Beside me is my acv water bottle, but, it is filled with just water.

Today is Sunday, so, I shall have a meeting to attend by phone and, then, hopefully, some work.

I've been reading a bit more of the Hot Latin Diet and it is helping me to clarify my thoughts. it's one of those "Oh, he agrees with me, so he must be an intelligent man and I should listen to him." sort of things.

I need to set myself a goal to get things clean and organized, around here, because, the disorganization is actively working against things getting clean and when things are not clean, or cannot be found, then I do not have what I need to eat right and exercise.

It really is quite bad. This is due to a combination of factors.
Remember, for instance, that I have Fibromyalgia. This means that I do not get out much. I am living in a new place. So, I don't have any helpful friends popping by, really; and, I don't have any money to pay anyone to be helpful.

In addition, I am living with my son, who is mentally ill. He has gone through things that I started to get organized, and just tossed them about freely, in search of change and such. He has not, however, tossed them back into their proper piles or onto their proper shelves, afterward.

Before that, my daughter was also living here and she really was not much better. Though, she did have bouts of helping to clean. However, when she cleaned the kitchen, what she did was make it LOOK nice. There were things hidden in all sorts of odd places.

Then, there was a roommate, who did the same thing, who actually was here after my daughter. And, before them both, was the move-in; And, before that was approximately 40 years of people treating my stuff with relatively the same respect. (sigh)

Oh, and then there were the bouts of the neighbor breaking and entering and tossing things about, as he stole stuff.

So, I have definite physical health issues, definite mental health issues related to cleaning and organizing in that I definitely suffer from PTSD, for all sorts of reasons, and these are some of those reasons, and definite social and monetary hampers toward living my life as I would have it lived.

I know someone who reads this, assuming anyone does read it, will scoff at the idea of cleaning having anything to do with PTSD.  Well, Mr. or Ms. Scoffy-pants, just you try to clean your house, getting your kitchen half-organized, only to have someone rush in and toss everything into the wrong shelf, time and time again, and see how much you feel like giving it a go for the tenth round!  And, that's just some of what I'm talking about!

Nevertheless, those are not excuses, those are facts of life to be overcome. I persevere. Why? I want a place that reflects my personality, not the personality of people who do not respect me. And, I want to be able to get things done!

Now, the good doctor Manny Alvirez, I believe his name is, who wrote the Hot Latin Diet suggests that one start with the closet. That sounds like fairly sound advice, because, quite frankly, the clothes, towels and sheets in this house take up a significant portion of the room and have invaded every room in the house.

I started out, the other day, labeling bags and sorting things into them. Then, I got distracted by various phone calls, places to go, etc. Now, I need to get back to it.

It may not seem like a weight loss, or get in shape, goal; but, it is! Why? As I said, because, disorganization gets in the way of getting things done and finding the things I need. Also, though, stress causes weight gain, as do allergies - well, both can and they both definitely do in my case- and both can be significantly lessened by a neater, cleaner environment.

For dinner, I had two wee chili dogs from Weinerschnitzel, that the neighbors bought me; plus some of my weird soup that I had made and frozen a wee while ago, plus some ramen noodles added to it.

I also had some chocolate and cookies. I need to stay away from my family!
