You know what ...

The more I think about it, the happier I get. I'm talking about the just-shy-of-8 lbs weight loss that I learned of, today. That's 28 days, 4 weeks, and, so, basically 2 lbs. a week.

For people who are on a diet program, that is not a crash diet, doing an hour of exercise at least 3 times a week (which is more in total minutes than I've been doing, since I missed days) - who are, in other words, really striving and making themselves uncomfortable to lose weight - a weight loss of 1-2 lbs. a week is considered normal and healthy and something to be celebrated.

They cut out carbs, lower calories, strain and stress to get that done. I went to the Golden Corral and ate like a pig, and to Pappy's for their lovely meaty Pappy's Burger with French fries, and got a Double Bacon Burger from Los Michecanos (or, perhaps Las . I'm not sure), ate that pain-dealing 6" meatball marinara, last night ate half of a Smores Pop Tart, and had a ton of pasta, and did as well. More than 1 lb a week and only slightly less than 2 lbs. And, that's with my stomach in distress and probably adding on 3-5 lbs. So, yaye! This is very very good, not just okay.

This month, I hope to do even better!
